After growing up snowmobiling in the Upper Peninsula, roaring through beautifully silent, snow-decked forests and thickly iced lakes and attending the University of Michigan & exploring the Great Lakes, how could I not seize the opportunity to visit again? The most difficult portion of the planning process: condensing the potential stops to our week’s worth of time.
